TESTIMONIAL: Letting go of my emotional attachment to property changed my life.
I love property and have owned a few houses in my time. But everything is about the emotion for me. I need to research it, see it, visit it, revisit it, plan on how to improve it, then more improvements. Property for me was tangible and today. And it wasn't making me any money. I was invited to a Dining Table Session with a mate and that's when the penny dropped. One of the presenters said 'I treat my property portfolio as a business. I don't visit them, I don't need to visit them, I have a property manager, landlord insurance and I buy in the right place so I know I'll get a tenant.' Bingo. Right there was how I got back on track. I was treating property as a substitute for self-worth and fulfilling my creativity by wanting to design and decorate. When I let go of that and bought a property because it was going to make me money, not fill my emotional cup - I moved forwards, fast! It didn't happen overnight. I went to a 2nd Dining Table event then had a Discovery Session. Each time, the information was consistent and I educated myself and let go of my fears. Two properties down, one to go and I'll be set. In the meantime, I spend more time with my family and we have a goal together. Thank you.
