Women in Finance Award 2018

I’ve always felt grateful to work with my clients, who allow me into their homes, help them to achieve their life goals and share that experience with family and friends.

Therefore, it was with great surprise that I found out last week (11 August 2018) that my Client Relationship Manager, Debi, had nominated me in the ‘Women in Finance 2018 Awards’ and then I’m notified on Thursday that I’m a finalist in the category of Innovator of the Year.

It’s been four years since I started this solo journey and like most business people these days it comes with highs and lows. And despite all this, I find every day worth it.

I cherish the strong relationships I have created and nurtured with mortgage brokers, insurers, legal representatives, property consultants and most of all – my clients. It’s they who I serve and this nomination validates what I do everyday.

The feedback from our ‘hold your hand’ approach to property investing has become something of a signature of giving our clients the best possible service, information and most of all – education. Without educating people on how investing in property works, the process is merely just a method not a strategy to financial freedom.

͛Women in Finance covers 28 categories and highlights the outstanding work of women within financial services and puts them on a national stage to support the continuing growth and development of women in the financial arena. I am now blessed to be one of those few chosen to be part of this elite group.

The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner on Thursday, 20 September at The Star, Sydney. I’m looking forward to sharing this experience along with the other well-deserved finalists.

I’m looking forward to putting another achievement on my website here.

Yes – I will post photos of the evening’s events.

As always, if you have any question, please leave a comment below.

Until next time,

From the desk of Christine.
